Magnus has done so much for us! He has been a cornerstone in our breeding program, improving every female he was bred to and producing Champions like no other males to date did for us. 6x Champion and 2x Best in Show – both in fleece and halter – Magnus is quite the package. In fleece show, he scored 89/100. Not to shabby in my opinion! He is a solid and stunning macho. His fleece is incredibly dense, shiny and well defined. His sire is Xanadu P Resolute, a male that made a tremendous impact in the Eastern Canadian industry. His dam is a Cimmaron Gold Legend daughter that produced 4x Supreme Champion Averegan’s Merida. Magnus shares almost the exact genetics as 7x Black Champion Averegan’s Aftershock, another Resolute x Cimmaron Gold Legend cross. The best way to judge the potential of a herdsire is by his progeny, and frankly Magnus did deliver. His progeny has great well-built conformations with solid bones and dispositions. Fleece-wise, they are all an improved version of their dams’ fleece. Producing crias from white to black and grey that are having fleeces as fine as 14.2 microns (Anrhumé – WH) with outstanding staple length and fleece weight, add to that crimp from skin to tip and great shine. His very first cria, Nyla of Peterboro, won the Combined Brown Colour Champion title in Fall 2019. Since then, Magnus has produced Champions in every colour, from white to black and grey. In fleece shows, his progeny reached up to 86.5/100 and culminated titles of "Judge's Choice", “Best Crimp” and “Best Brightness”! His black daughter, Miss Andean Shadow du DNA, is a 4x Champion that scored up to 79/100 – a score rarely given to blacks in Canada. As a bonus, our first generation of Magnus daughters are now producing Champions! At the 2023 Alpaca Quebec International Fleece Show, One of a Kind received for his 3rd fleece, 84 points showing 24.5/25 for Finesse & Handle, 10/10 for lack of guard hair, 8.5/10 for crimp, 4.5/5 for density. Stunning fineness of secondaries and primaries throughout! One of a Kind is just that. ONE OF A KIND! He is a combination of the Xclipse's Belenis line with Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX. This combination resulted in a very uniform fleece with an SD 2.2 and 100% comfort. Miss Andean Shadow DU DNA is exactly what we have been looking for to add to our black breeding program!

Her fleece is incredible! Extremely dense, fine, uniform, and highly aligned! Her fleece is so incredibly it has scored just as high as whites! She is conformationally correct. She has excellent substance of bone, and is well grown. Along with that she has a pleasing phenotype. What also makes her so special is that she is a late descendant of Maple Brook Barnabus, and Xanadu P Resolute. And she is black!

While Shadow is still in Canada she will be bred to 3 time judges choice male Ariya Everlasting's One of a Kind! For what should be an incredible cria!
